There was a time when Beloit was refer ed to as, the yale of the midwest. We had to put a stop to that decades back. Beloit is far better than yale in every way. If that old Englist teacher had not written her book about Blowit in the 1960s; I would have donated the 10M for the football team. Her last name begins with an S I can't recall; but I think her husband's name was David. She idolized some turd, who as I recall, was class president,( that should sum it up). Gave the school a bad name and hurt our reputation for a time. So, the team keeps loosing. Fall in Beloit, beautiful.I had my choice of the ivys and Beloit. I am glad I picked Beloit.

I have gotten so much out of my Beloit College experience. I really think you can too. Everyone is like a family on campus; you know everyone by name or face. There are so many clubs and organizations you can join to meet people, and parties on the weekend are always fun. Academic life is enriching and stimulating, and it's a great place to begin a career/intellectual life in any field. Just to warn you, most Beloiters are kind of odd, but that's why I loved my experience there. You get to know all types of interesting people that may sway from the mainstream. But that could explain why Beloit ranks 20th out of roughly 2,000 U.S. baccalaureate-awarding institutions for producing future Ph.D. degree recipients. You'll find many eccentric college students who will be future eccentric doctors and professors! However, there is every type of person, so you can find your niche easy if you're into sports, cooking, Greek life, geek life, movies, whatever. Beloit has it all! Anyways,
